John was the son of Jonas Berkheimer & Tillie M. Ramer.

He married:
(1) Anna May Eyster on 14 Feb 1931 in York, York Co., PA. They later divorced.
(2) Elsie Matilda Krout

Seven Valleys--- John M. Berkheimer, 74, husband of Mrs. Elsie Krout Berkheimer, Seven Valleys RD2, died Saturday at the York Hospital.

Mr Berkheimer was employed 16 years by Robert J. Biechelberger Trucking Co., York, prior to his retirement in 1966. he was a member of Hanover Lodge 227, Loyal Order of Moose. He was the son of the late Jonas and Tillie Ramer Berkheimer.

Surviving also are two daughters, Mrs. Betty Eyster, Hanover Rd. York and Mrs Janice Balderson, Hackettstown N.J.; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Gladfelter, 365 Spring St., Spring Grove.

The Rev. M.L. Kroh a retired Lutheran minister of Seven Valleys, will officiate at funeral services at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove.

Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union cemetery, York New Salem.
