LAKE VIEW - Allen Ammons, 57, a farmer, died Monday.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Prevatte Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery in Mullins.
Mr. Ammons was a son of the late Lonnie J. Ammons and Mrs. Annie Turbeville Ammons.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mildred Cook Ammons of Lake View; three daughters, Mrs. Rosalee A. Watts and Mrs. Linda A. Walters, both of Asheboro, N.C. and Mrs. Deanne A. Worthington of Florida; two sons, Richard Ammons of Dillon and Bobby Ammons of Asheboro; a sister, Mrs. Fred Hunsucker of Marion; five brothers, James Ammons, Ralph Ammons, Lonnie Ammons and J. C. Ammons, all of Chester, and S. T. Ammons of Mullins; and 5 grandchildren.
