6 Aug 1971: Harvey A. Clawser, 78, Lebanon RD 4, Mt. Wilson, died at his home Thursday afternoon. He was the husband of the former Gertrude Hershey and a son of the late Elias and Louise Matthews Clawser. Clawser, who was a county native, was retired. He had previously worked as a night watchman at the W. L. Kreider Shoe Co. in Palmyra. He was a member of the United Christian Church, Mt. Hope. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Alvin C. and Robert S., both of Mt. Wilson; five grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Alice B. Clawser and Mrs. Sadie Matzinger, both of Harrisburg. A son Harvey R. died in 1967. [Lebanon Daily News]

9 Aug 1971: Services were conducted this morning from the Taylor Funeral Home for Harvey A. Clawer, Lebanon RD 4, with the Rev. John A. Shuman of Mt. Wilson, officiating. Interment was made in the Colebrook Cemetery, with relatives and friends serving as pallbearers. [Lebanon Daily News]
