Phyllis (Gunn) Beaudoin, 74, of Fillmore Street, Chicopee, died Tuesday in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. She was a 34-year supervisor for New England Telephone and retired in 1984. Born in Chicopee on October 29, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred T. and Stella (Marek) Gunn. Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Chicopee, a graduate of St. Patrick's School, an honors graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 1945, and a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Chicopee. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, member and past President of St. Anne's Sodality Guild of St. Anne's Church, the Catholic Women's Club, the Pioneer Valley U.S.O. during Desert Storm, a volunteer for the American Red Cross, member of the Polish Junior League, and Disabled American Veterans' Auxiliary Westover Unit. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Joseph R. Beaudoin Sr., who died April 2, 1999; and her sister, Evelyn Gunn, who died on June 6, 2001. She is survived by a daughter, Denise L. Beaudoin of Springfield; a son, Joseph R. Beaudoin Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a sister, Janice Graham and her husband William Graham of Chicopee; a grandson, Aaron T. Beaudoin of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a niece, Kerrie Graham of Springfield.
