Daniel Totten, a well known resident of North Cuba died Feb. 11 after an illness of several months. He had an operation at the Clinic in Olean and was there during September. The immediate cause of his death was a stroke of paralysis.

Mr. Totten was born near Bradford, PA, November 3, 1859.

In 1880 he was married to Liona Lafferty, whose home had been near Bradford, thou for two years before their marriage, she had lived in the town of New Hudson, in which place 25 years of their married life was spent. They have lived at Cuba for the past twelve years or so.

Mr. Totten leaves his wife and daughter, Ruth, also a brother Jerry Totten, who has been with him during his illness. His sister died about a year ago. Her husband, John Eidson, and son Arthur Eidson, and the latter's wife of Bradford attended the funeral.

The service took place on Monday, at the late home of the deceased, the Rev. Roberts of Marshall conducting it. The remains were laid in the cemetery at Bellville.
