ALFRED L. CALDWELL
Alfred L. Caldwell, age 48, passed away in an out-of-town hospital following three years of declining health.
He was born and reared in Gordon County, son of Fred and Daphne Sloan Caldwell. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are one son, Lou Caldwell of Calhoun; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Caldwell, and one brother Calvin Caldwell of Calhoun.
Funeral servics for Mr. Caldwell will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 26 at 2 o'clock in Thomas Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Maddox and the Rev. E. F. Cobb officiating.
Pallbearers serving are Barnette Chitwood, Charles Sloan, Max Hilley, Hoyt Edwards, Frankie Spector and Everett DeFoor.
Mrs. George Hayes and Ernest Fuller will have charge of the music.
Interment in Fain Cemetery.
