Lippy was a beautiful Goldfish that belonged not only to Scarlett but also the whole family. She was a present for Scarletts 8th Birthday and she had a beautiful personality right from the start. We called her "lippy" because she had red lipstick coluring on her lips. She had a goldfish friend called Goldie who unfortunately passed on but Lippy kept on going. When you went up to her fishtank she would dance with delight and loved to be fed her special food. She also loved to eat mosquitoes and would chop them in one gulp.We called her the beautiful Lippity Lea.
Just before the horrific bushfires on February 2009 called black saturday there was a very hot day.The temperature was in the early forty degree celcius and poor lippy's fishtank was so hot that poor lippy died in the heated water. The whole family was so upset as we had lost a member of our family and we buried her in a lovely velvet bag in the garden under a bragmansia tree.we didnt get another fish as yet as Lippy was the best and most loved fish ever.
Thank you to the Purple-Lady who was very kind to sponser this grave.
