Mrs. Lillian Cook, 559 Fitzhugh, widow of Paris veterinarian, Dr. F. G. Cook, died at 3:55 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Regan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook was born Sept. 5, 1883, in Paris, a daughter of George T. Saunders and the former Para Lee Jones. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and its New Era Sunday School Class.

She is survived by one son, George Shelton of Bryan; three grandchildren, Gilbert Shelton of San Francisco, Calif., Tom Shelton of Charleston, S.C. and Sarah Jane Shelton of Bryan; and one sister, Mrs. Lynn Whiteside of Paris.
