The masonry wall, pictured with this memorial, was built in 1935 by Ted Kuebler,as so noted on a plaque. Funds were donated by Mrs J.Lewis honoring her parents, M/M Jacob Weber. Ted also build at least 4 fish ponds in German Twp - Dan Mohr / Clarence Goebel / Asmus Roeder and one at the Kuebler home, using his stone masonry skills.

Theodore Kuebler, a florist here for
many years, died early Wednesday at Cardinal Care Nursing Center where he had lived for 1 1/2 years. He was 73.
In 1906 his father, Theodore J., opened the T.J.K. Florists on rural Kuebler Road. After his father's death, Kuebler operated the business until his retirement in 1962. A son, Kenneth, now runs the business. T.J.K. Florists is best known for its large standard
chrysanthemums. Kuebler was a lifetime member of StPaul's Unitied Church of Christ in German Township. At one time, he was active in the Farm Bureau, the Evansville Florists Assn. and the German Township Booster Club. His wife, Edna, died in November, 1960. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth, of Kuebler Road, and Gerald, of Mount Vernon; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Stark of Colorado Springs, Colo., three brothers, Arthur, of Kuebler Road, Wilbur and Pershing, both of Evansville; a sister, Mrs. Walter Hayden of Evansville;6 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's in German Township, the Rev. Eugene Bickel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Alexander Funeral Home West
