"BUNTING - Funeral services for Ethel Fleming Bunting, 90, of Sugar Land, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 431 Eldridge Rd. Sugar Land, TX 77478. Interment will follow at Fields Store Cemetery in Waller. Reverend Jon Sims will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Ethel was born November 16, 1919 in Hitchcock to Marion Barney and Oma (Redkey) Fleming. She graduated from Rosenberg High School and moved to Houston where she married George T. Bunting and they were married 47 years. Ethel passed away July 17, 2010 in Sugar Land.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George T. bunting; parents, Marion and Oma Bunting; and her siblings, Mel Fleming, Marjorie Fleming Thompson and Edith Fleming Mehrens.
Ethel is survived by her children, Nan Bunting Middlebrooks, Michael Thomas Bunting, Richard Fleming Bunting and Judy Ellen Bunting Goodson; grandchildren, Kelly Middlebrooks, P.J. Middlebrooks, Richard Goodson, Ellen Goodson Binford, Clayton Bunting, Travis Bunting, Laura Bunting Minks, Henry Bunting, Andrew Bunting and Michael Bunting; great grandchildren, Kasey Montgomery, Kaitlyn Goodson, Jacob Middlebrooks, Hayden Minks, trace Minks; along with other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be P.J. Middlebrooks, Travis Bunting, Henry Bunting, Andrew Bunting, Michael Bunting and Kasey Montgomery.
The family would like to acknowledge Hospice Compassus and Home Instead for the wonderful care provided to our mother.
