Alta Gilmore was the daughter of Jonas Gilmmore and Jane Standiford. She married Oliver Forest Crowder on January 23, 1898. The couple had a son, Oliver Forest Crowder, Jr., who was born shortly after the death of his father. Alta then married Daniel Jones, son of Evan Jones and Jenina Perkins on December 27, 1899.
