AUSTIN - Abbie LaVerne Austin, aged 21, wife of Ray E. Austin, died at the family residence, 2130 South Seventh East, Monday. She was born October 20, 1907, in Midvale, and had been a resident of Salt Lake for the past eighteen months.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five brothers, George, Roy, William, Melvin, and Vance Jenkins, all of Midvale, and by three sisters, Mrs. Annie McRae of Los Angeles, Mrs. C. L. (Esther) Duckworth of Los Angeles, and Eva Jenkins of Midvale.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Midvle First Ward chapel, Bishop A. P. Rasmussen will officiate.
The body may be viewed Friday and Saturday until 1 p.m. at the residence. Interment will be in the Midvale cemetery under the direction of the Deseret Mortuary company.
