Aimee B. Beach, 78, New Buffalo, died Thursday (April 8, 1999) at St. Anthony Memorial Health Centers, Michigan City.

Mrs. Beach was born June 23, 1920, in Monticello, Ind., to Charles and Julia Green Prosser. On Nov. 15, 1943, she married Milton Beach, who preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1995.

Survivors include four daughters, Corliss (Weston) Edmondson, Harbert, Mich., Barbara Kahles, North Ft. Meyers, Fla., Jennifer Prosser, New Buffalo, and Martha (Daniel) Ondrus, Union Pier, Mich.; four grandchildren, Marni Edmondson, Dane (Paul) Oman, Leslie (Quentin) Cox and Christopher Alexejun; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Georges, Chicago, and Wilma Mazac, Michigan City; two brothers, Lloyd Prosser and Ronald Prosser, both of Michigan City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Dale, Robert, Willis and Ralph Prosser.

Mrs. Beach was the former owner of the Palace Restaurant and the 49er Restaurant, both in Michigan City, and Milton's Restaurant in New Buffalo.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 209, Three Oaks, Mich., and was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of St. John United Church of Christ.

She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed quilting, doing crafts, reading books and was a loving mother, grandmother and faithful member of the church.
