At the time of the Battle of Fredericksburg, VA, the V Corps was commanded by BG Daniel Butterfield, the 3rd Division by BG Andrew A. Humphreys and the 2nd Brigade by Col. Peter H. Allabach.
The V Corps, 3rd Division (Humphreys) assaulted Marye's Heights in mid-afternoon. The apex of the assault reached within 50 yards of the stone wall before being cut down.
As part of the V Corps, the 131st Pennsylvania also participated in the infamous "Mud March" and in the Battle of Chancellorsville, VA.

Henry reenlisted, almost 16 months later, on 21 Sep 1864 as Private in Co. H, 199th Pennsylvania Vol. Inf. and served with the 1st Bde, 1st Div, X Corps, Army of the James and then with the 1st Bde, 1st Div, XXIV Corps, Army of the James.
As such he would have been at the siege of Petersburg, VA and the pursuit of the Army of Northern Virginia to Appomattox, VA.
