BONHAM - Funeral services for Mary Angala Bearden, 89, of Bonham will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Don Dillow and the Rev. John Lindsey will officiate. Burial will be in Hampton Cemetery in the Ehube community. Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, in Mullican Care Center of Savoy.
Mrs. Bearden was born May 28, 1921, in Bonham, the daughter of Joseph E. Pilliod and Emma Lee Hall Pilliod. She married Paul Bearden Dec. 7, 1940, in Bonham. She was a member of Edhube Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Paul Bearden and sister-in-law, Ruby Pilliod of Bonham; sister, Francis Jester of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Don Shipman, Gary Purdy, Joe Pilliod, Shawn Eagleton, John David Pilliod and Don Pilliod.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6 -8 p.m. Monday.
