Launia Blevins Acors, 82, of Partlow, a loving mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008.
She had attended Wallers Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, F. Melwood Acors.
She is survived by one son, Gilbert M. Acors and his wife, Mary, of Partlow; two daughters, Frances M. Crumpler and her husband, Ed, and Linda A. Lightfoot, all of Richmond; four grandchildren, Stacey L. Atkins and her husband, Walter, Sharon L. Lightfoot, Shawn C. Crumpler and his wife, Kelly, all of Richmond and Sara E. Acors of Partlow; three great-granddaughters, Susan R. Atkins, Sydney T. Lightfoot and Hailey Barnes, all of Richmond; one sister Leona B. Atkins and her husband, Bill, of Laurel, Md.; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind one grand-dog, Roxie, of Partlow.
