Son of Wilson Caswell Pittman, Sr. & Gertie Blanche West; grandson of Reverend Henry L. & Huldah (Goodwin) Pittman and John Fremont Cecil & Sarah Jane (Reynolds) West.
After the death of his parents, he was reared by his Uncle John Talbert Pittman & Aunt Nora (West) Pittman.
Married Glendine Strandberg, June 17, 1930 in Beaver Co., OK.
They have four beautiful children:
Billy Dean (m Lois Irene Toliver)
Wanda Darlene (m Donald Dwane Johnson)
Phyllis Ann (m Robert Dwayine Hickman)
Ralph Oral (m Mary Glyn Jennings)
As far as I remember, Uncle Raleigh was always a farmer. He was a very nice man and we kids enjoyed listening to his southern drawl. He lived 60 years, 11 months, 13 days before the Lord called him Home.
