Burial was in Legion Memorial Cemetery at Newellton under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday.
Mrs. Arnold died early Thursday morning at her residence after a short illness.
Survivors include her husband, T. Gordon Arnold of Vidalia; one son, Gordon D. Arnold of Vidalia; three daughters, Mrs. Reba Walker of West Monroe, Mrs. Rogena Copeland of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Frances Ezell of Vidalia; four brothers, Raymond Cannon, Burl Cannon and T. A. Cannon, all of Newellton, and Marvin Cannon of Muskogee, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Shockley of Danville, Ark.; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Jones, J. B. Temple, Charlie Randall, A. J. Gardner, Ernest Roberts, Ray Hammett, J. O. Weatherly and J. L. Matthews.
