Mrs John Davenport Dies
Mrs Ada E Davenport, 82, widow of John E Davenport, died this morning at her home on Mechanic street [Shelburne Falls] following a long illness. She was a native of Colrain, the daughter of Samuel and Louisa Donaldson (sic). She lived at Colrain until the death of her husband about 25 years ago, and had since made her home at Shelburne Falls with her sister, Miss Sarah Donaldson (sic). Besides her sister, she leaves a niece, Miss Grace Donaldson (sic) of Colrain. The funeral will be held at the home Saturday afternoon at 2. Rev W Hubert Porter of Holyoke, former pastor of the local Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in West Branch cemetery, Colrain.
