Services for Reuben O. Axelton, 77, will be at 1 p.m. in the Alert Mission Church near Clay Center with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

He was born at Randolph, March 28, 1884.

An employee of Capper Publications before his retirement, he was a resident of Topeka for 20 years, and a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Laura, of the home; a son, Lyle Axelton, Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Mrs. Ardith Sippel, Clay Center; two grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer Axelton, Clay Center, Alcott Axelton, Wamego and Linnie, Manhattan; and two sisters, Miss Estella Axelton and Mrs. Mabel Wagner, both of Wamego.
