Sonny was struck by a motor vehicle and died at the scene. He was preceded in death by his grandmother American Ann Fugate. He leaves his parents Alscinous and Virginia Fugate Lang, two sisters Patricia Ann Lang and Hester Violet Lang of the home; grandparents William Henry and Francis Merelda Lang and grandfather Vernon Goodwin Fugate and numerous aunt, uncles and cousins.
