Died as a young man in Beaver Twp. His widow Elizabeth (Lingenfelter) couldn't handle the children so she put them all out for guardianship.His parents Christian Sr and Maria Ackerman also lived in Beaver Twp. He also has a sister Christina but I can find no brothers here. He is buried in the Mt Olivet Church Cemetery in North Lima. One son, Solomon Ackerman, worked for the railroad and moved to leslie, Ingham County, Michigan. 1844-1920.Solomon then becamse a well builder, finally owned Ackerman House, a hotel. Married Susan Rudisill whose paternal ancestral line came from Frederick/Carroll Counties, Maryland. Susan 1844-1912.
