Funeral services for a 107 year old Carroll County negro was held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Saturday. "Uncle' Abe Bonner attributed his long life to his daily plug of tobacco. He was a former slave who was born on the present site of West Georgia College. Relatives said he had been in excellent health until last May when he "had to take it easy on his farming and rest up some." "Uncle' Abe, until a few years ago used to take frequent walks to Carrollton to purchase tobacco.
