Beulah A. Lunn, b. Aug., 1870 in Louisville, Kentucky to Byers and Louisa Lunn, had been married once before to Walter Drysdale, on May 24, 1890 at Jeffersonville, Clark Co., Indiana. Their marriage had produced one daughter, Anna Mae Drysdale, b. 1892. Their marriage ended in divorce prior to June 6, 1900, when the 1900 U S Census was taken. As of that date, she and her daughter were boarding with Mary Bardsley and her children in Louisville, Kentucky where Beulah was supporting herself and her daughter as a "Tailoress". She then married Herbert C. Baker of Louisville, Kentucky, in 1908, in Jefferson County, Ky., and Anna Mae lived with them, even after her marriage to Karl (Charles G., Jr.) Herder, a woodworker (and later a machinist at the lumber mill), originally from Ohio, when the census was being taken in 1920. They then went to stay with Anna Mae's in-laws, Charles G. and Julian Herder, both of Ohio, who now lived in Louisville, Kentucky in their home valued at $4500, which had no mortgage. Her mother, Beulah, and Herbert Baker remained together the rest of their days, living in Louisville, Kentucky. She passed from this life on Dec 12, 1930, and was buried at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky, with other Baker family members. Herbert followed her in death in 1934.
Note: Following the death of Beulah and Herbert, Anna Mae, her husband, and two daughters, Beulah M. and Glorianna returned to her mother's house at 121 So. 32nd, Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky. In 1940, this house was valued at $3,000 and had a radio, per the 1940 U. S. Census, taken on Apr 13, 1940. Anna Mae died June 4th, 1963 and is interred at Cave Hill Cemetery with her husband.
