Zadock Casey was the son of Hiram and Catherine DePriest Casey. His father is buried in TN and his widowed mother settled in Baxter County, AR along with another of her sons. Catherine is buried in Mountain Home, AR.

Zadock married Amanda Foster and may have had a daughter Beulah b. 1843. I have no other information on the wife or daughter after the death of Zadock at such a young age.
