Cailey L. Baker, 15, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born January 5, 1996 in Fort Wayne. She was a freshman, a member of the girls basketball team, and a peer minister at Bishop Luers High School. She worked on her family's dairy farm. She also was a member of the 4-H club in Huntington, and a State and National Member of the Holstein Association and Jersey Cattle Club. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Roanoke. She had a face that could light up a room, and truly loved everyone she met. She was everyone's problem solver and a great shoulder to cry on. Cailey was an accomplished and very responsible person, for her age. Survivors include her parents, Tracy and Sherry Baker, of Roanoke; brothers, Daniel Bradbury, of Columbia City, Cameron Baker and Casey Baker, both at home; grandmother, Edna Loubier, of Ft Wayne; and her baby calf Montana. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Max and Elsie Baker and Walter Loubier and uncle Ted Wall. Funeral Mass at 11:30am Saturday, January 22, 2011 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 Fairfield Ave. Visitation is 2-5 and 6-9pm Friday at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton, Winchester Rd Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. with a Vigil service at 8:30pm Friday.
