Rites Held for Benjamin Howver
SAN ANDREAS. July 1. - Funeral services were held this afternoon for Benjamin Monroe Hawver, 60, well known Calaveras County rancher who died Thursday at his ranch, four miles from San Andreas.
Native of Hollister, Hawver had lived in Calaveras County for many years. Surviving are the widow, Edith Florence Hawver; five daughters Mrs. Beatrice Wisner of El Monte. Mrs. Ruth Dahl of Glencoe, Mrs. Julia Howard of Pine Grove, Mrs. Eleanor Williams and Reatha Hawver of San Andreas; two sons, Gustave and Monroe Hawver, also of San Andreas.
Services were held at the Gardella Mortuary at Mokelumne Hill, with interment in the Protestant Cemetery at that place.
