Marvel passed away peacefully on January 17, at the age of 94.
She is survived by her brother, Walter Wright Jr.;son and daughter-in-law,Wayne and Dorothy Little of Suisun Valley, and her daughter, Diane Waters of Fairfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Louis Little, Susan Little, Craig Waters, Sharon Orr and Lynn White (Marlin); nine great-grandchildren, Daniel Clyde Little, Clarasue Michalski (Chris), Kendall and Nathan Nagaoka, Heather and Rachel Orr, Courtney Crosson, Samantha and Dustin White; and two great-greatgrandchildren, Samantha Rose and Daniel Michalski.
Marvel was born to Pearl Lambert Wright and Clyde Wright in the town of Cement outside of Fairfield.
She attended Dover Grammar School and Armijo High School, class of 1933. After graduation she worked at J.C. Penney in downtown Fairfield where she met her future husband Louis Little. They married in 1936 and settled in a house in Fairfield where she was a homemaker for 63 years.
She was a Grey Lady at Travis Air Force Base during the Korean War. She also worked at various Solano County offices.
Marvel loved to play golf and was a longtime member of the Nine Holers at Green Valley Country Club. She was a member of the Wednesday Club in Suisun and an avid bridge player, winning well into her eighties.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Little; two sisters, Ruth Kilkenny and Viola Eisenzopf; son-in-law, Robert Waters; grandsonin-law, James Ott, and her great-granddaughter, Cynthia Louise Little.
