Clarence Barker, age 71, of Lake Graham, Texas died Sunday, November 4, 2007, in Graham.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Graham, pastor of Olney Cowboy Church and Harvey McQueen of Megargel, Texas, officiating. Interment will follow in the Megargel Cemetery, under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Mr. Barker was born September 26, 1936 in Lee County, Texas to the late Claude and Lydia(Smith) Barker. He and Sonnie McWhorter were married December 28, 1957 in Olney, Texas. She preceded him in death on March 18, 1999. He was a retired tool pusher. He attended the Olney Cowboy Church. He moved to Lake Graham from Olney in 1985. He was preced in death by two brothers, Larry Dale and Leon Barker.
Survivors include his companion, Allene Jaynes of Lake Graham, Texas; two sons, David Barker and wife Kimberly of League City, Texas and Donald Barker and wife June of Granbury, Texas; one brother, Glen Barker of Tuscola, Texas; one sister Edith Lavon Foster and husband Bobby of Bowie, Texas; four grandchildren, Alan Barker and Zack Barker both of League City, Texas, J.R. Whitfield of Granbury, Texas, and Staci Reimer and husband Zack of Washington, D.C.' and one great grandchild Caleb Whitfield of Lake Jackson, Texas.
The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-7 p.m.
