Henry Gibson was a stonemason that settled in the Gibsonville area (called Yokley) in Giles County, TN. He owned 400 acres of land in 1878.

The Gibsonville Cemetery that was established in 1858 was located on his farm.

"Henry Gibson is in a dying condition." According to the "Maury Democrat" (local newspaper), dated March 30, 1893. We assume that he died later in 1893. He is buried at the Gibsonville Cemetery. The inscription on his old gravestone at the Cemetery is not legible.
