God's garden grew when our two angels joined him on Sunday, January 16th, 2011. Alyssa Ann Holtzclaw and her 10 month old baby son, Jacob Tucker, were killed when their truck was hit by a hit and run driver on Highway 105 at 6:15 AM. Alyssa was on her way to work at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth where she was employed as an X-Ray Technician. She was taking Baby Tucker to his grandparents before going to work.

Alyssa was a wonderful and loving mother who was dedicated to her family. She had a beautiful smile and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Jacob Tucker was a gentle baby boy who had the sweetest grin and was loved and adored by his family.

Alyssa is survived by her husband, Todd Holtzclaw of Sour Lake; two sons, five year old Ty and three year old Luke of Sour Lake; parents, Mike and Carolyn Patterson of Brookeland; grandmother, Alif Cotton of Beaumont; sister and brother-in-law, Tara and Chris Copley of Sugarland; brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Lacy Patterson of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; nieces, Kadence and Lakin Patterson, Caitlin Midkiff, and Sarah Boudreaux; nephews, Caige, Cord, and Crew Copley, Sam and David Midkiff; great nieces, Lily and Eva Grace Boudreaux; and great nephew, Aiden Boudreaux.

Tucker is survived by his daddy, Todd Holtzclaw; two big brothers, Ty and Luke; grandparents, Mike and Carolyn Patterson and Doug and Ann Holtzclaw of Beaumont; great-grandmother, Alif Cotton; aunts and uncles, Tara and Chris Copley, Shane and Lacy Patterson, Jill and Doug Midkiff, Doug Holtzclaw, Mike Holtzclaw, and Jerry Holtzclaw; and two special "uncles", John Myers and Mark Rennick.

Both are survived by a multitude of extended family and friends that will forever love and cherish them.

Alyssa and Tucker's funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2011, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of their family and friends will be Thursday, January 20, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard's.

In memory of Alyssa and Tucker, a special fund will be set up for Ty and Luke's college fund through Bank of America.
