Margaret Kathleen (Mollie) Kelleher Campbell
August 12, 1911 - January 9, 2011
Mollie was born in Spokane, Wash., and left us peacefully from her special spot at Gold Country Health Center in Placerville, Calif., after suffering a stroke on Dec. 25, 2010. She was the beloved mother of Jack E. Campbell and his wife Sherryl of Diamond Springs, Calif. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Tod (Sue) Campbell, Mindy (Mike) Barsotti and Sara (Tom) Stanton; and four great-grandchildren, Mark and Mia Barsotti and Sophia and Rebekah Stanton.

Mollie graduated from the Sacred Heart Academy of Spokane in 1929 before moving to the San Diego area, where she and her sister Mary were employed by American Telephone and Telegraph. She met her husband, Jack Edward, after World War II and they resided in Monterey Park for several years before relocating to Fair Oaks in the early 1950s, where they resided for 20 years. Mollie worked for the State of California, retiring in 1976, after being employed for 20 years. Jack Edward preceded her in death in 1972.

In 1981 Mollie moved to Lake Oaks Mobile Home Community in Diamond Springs, Calif., and quickly became involved in many of the activities of the park and making new friends. She was always up for a good bridge game and was the preferred chauffeur for her bingo buddies. She lived in her home at Lake Oaks until 2004, when she moved to Gold Country, where she was lovingly cared for by their most fabulous staff — too numerous to mention, but the family thanks each and every one of them from the bottom of our hearts. We know how much you all loved "Good golly, Miss Mollie!"

At Mollie's request, no services will be held.
