Charles R. “Charlie” French, 87
Funeral services were Friday, October 5, at the Relyea Funeral Chapel for Charles R. “Charlie” French, 87, of Boise, Idaho, who died of natural causes on October 1, 1990, in a Boise nursing home. Burial was in the Dry Creek Cemetery.

Charles R. French was born February 24, 1903, on a farm near Kennard, Nebraska, a son of William and Maude Bender French. He lived on the same farm for the next 65 years.

He married Edith E. McDonald on October 24, 1923, and two daughters were born to this union; Dorothy (Mrs. Paul L.) Stewart of Boise and Marjorie, formerly of Yuma, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, including Janet Jacobsen of Blair, and nephews in Nebraska.
