Lueela Cook, age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (May 29, 2012) in Leitchfield, Kentucky She was born on February 28, 1927, in Wax, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Frances Alvey Jaggers. She was a housewife and was a member of the Unity Pentecostal Church. She is survived by a daughter, Frances Baxter of Leitchfield, two sons, Donald (Janet) and Tommy Cook both of Leitchfield, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James S Cook, a daughter, Lisa Popplewell, a son-in-law, Danny Baxter and two brothers, John Elza and William Alva Jaggers. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (June 1, 2012) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Hack will be officiating. Burial will be in the Peonia Christian Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
