-CHERAW - Mrs. Sara Buff "Cricket" Brower, 85, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006.
-A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
-Mrs. Brower was born in Wadesboro, N.C., a daughter of the late Willie Madison and Sara Caroline Brower Buff. She was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church.
-She was preceded in death by a husband, Clarence Franklin Brower; son, Clarence A. "Buck" Brower; a brother, William M. Buff; and two sisters, Mary Jane Curlee and Virginia Adams.
-Survivors include a son, Tommy (Cindy) Brower of Cheraw; a daughter, Margie B. Riley of Cheraw; two sisters, Pauline B. Smith of Cheraw and Patsy B. Ballard of Marion; six grand-children; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
-Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield served the family.
