Funeral for Mrs. Peter Boernsen of May City was held at St. John's Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, the Rev. W.T. Wolfram conducting the services.
Mrs. Boernsen has resided in the county since 1895. Brights disease was the immediate cause of her death. She passed away Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
Mrs. Boernsen was born at Schleswig, Holstein, September 16, 1858. She came to America in 1884 and lived for a number of years in Benton and Plymouth counties. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Boernsen, four of whom live to mourn the loss of their other.
