Mrs. Lizzie Christian
Funeral services for Lizzie Jane Christian, 84, of Beckley, will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Keyser-Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary G. Brubaker officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Christian died Monday in a local nursing home following an extended illness. Her husband, William, preceded her in death in 1954.
Born Oct. 24, 1884, in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary Fleshman Tyree. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Bapist Church.
Survivors include one half-sister, Mrs. Claude Sowder of West Hollywood, Fla.; one half-brother, Theodore Tyree of Dallas, Tex., and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be James Davis, Emory Miller, L. H. Jennett, Robert Erwin, Fred, Miller and William Davis.
