HERMANSVILLE - Doris A. Ayotte, 79, Hermansville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at her home following a five year battle with cancer. She was born on July 14, 1931, in Stephenson, the daughter of the late Norman and Leona (Gaede) Neville Sr.

Doris had a deep love of music and she enjoyed playing different instruments and writing her own songs. She also loved cooking, saving her many different recipes and traveling.

Doris is survived by two sons, Gerald (Patricia) Ayotte and Joseph (Paula) Ayotte, three daughters, Cindy (Bill) Callahan, Marsha (Robert) Lombard and Shannon Ayotte; one brother, Norman Neville Jr.; two sisters, Darlene Riggs and Donna (Tom) Fisher; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Erin, Erik, Lance, Brenton, Krista and Tara; one great-granddaughter, Alivia and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents and two brothers, Dale and Earl Neville, preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (CST) on Thursday, Jan. 13, at Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visitation at 4 p.m. (CST) on Thursday at St. John Neumann Church in Hermansville with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place in the Faithorn Cemetery.
