Stephen P. Adams, age 51, of Inverness, entered into rest on December 2, 2010. He was born November 25, 1959, in Willimantic, CT, son of the late Richard and Barbara (Ryan) Adams. Steve was a loyal employee of Florida Pest Control, working as a sales representative. He moved to Inverness from Connecticut 7 years ago. While in Connecticut, he worked many years as an automotive manager.Steve enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, family gatherings, and his best pal, Scottie, a Silky Yorkie. At these family gatherings he enjoyed playing endless games with his nieces and nephews. Steve was always available for any need to his family and friends, whether it be changing oil in a friend's car, or being there when advice was needed.He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Susanne Adams, Inverness, FL; 2 brothers, Richard and wife Kathy Adams, Cape Coral, FL and Arthur Adams, KY; and his 2 sisters, Starr Blanchette and Gloria Blanchard, both of Gorham, Maine. He will be deeply missed by Bill and Ursula Bryant, who thought of him as a son, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, along with many nieces and nephews.A Service of Remembrance for Stephen will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes.
