Adventurer. American citizen who traveled to Cuba to fight in the Cuban Revolution under Fidel Castro. When Castro turned to Communism, Morgan denounced him. Morgan was executed by firing squad on March 11, 1961 for allegedly running guns to anti-Communist guerillas. He was buried in a cemetery in Cuba. The Cuban government has promised to find his remains and return them to his widow in Toledo, Ohio.
