22, Student, valedictorian Class of 2006 from D'Evelyn High School, Lakewood, Colorado died at her own hands while on break from Stanford University, CAL.
Claire was born on Aug 29, 1988 to Debra Hollemans and Kurt Roscow of Lakewood, Colorado. She grew up with her older sister, LeAnne. In addition to her parents, Claire is survived by; her grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends worldwide. LeAnne preceded her in death. A Celebration of her Life was held at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood with well over 800 in attendance. Reminisces of Claire and her accomplishments rang thorough-out the service, from time as a child learning and mastering numbers to her intense interest in others from around the world. Claire's father spoke of her struggle with depression and despair, asking all to forgive her and remember her joy and love. In the fall of 2008 Claire participated in a student exchange program at Oxford University. In 2009 she helped to host the Dalai Lama's visit at Stanford. She loved running, swimming, diving, yoga, and traveling. A Remember When ™ Movie Tribute was shown as the service drew near to an end, helping to bring people together in laughter, joy, and sadness to reflect a life cut short although, well lived.
