Printer. He is related to Samuel Adams, and was a Boston printer of modest means. He instilled in his 2 boys a pride in heritage and inellectual attainment. Webster went to MIT. Joe went to McKim, Mead and White, and died prematurely at 37, in 1890. Thomas's tombstone has no death date, but we know he was interred in 1903.
