Funeral Rites Set For W.W. Beard
Funeral services will be held at 5p.m. Sunday for William Washington Beard, 85, retired Dallas County farmer who died Friday night in a Lancaster convalescent hospital.
The Rev. Harvey Rose will officiate at services at the Boulevard Assembly of God Church, 3240 East Illinois. Beard will be buried in Wheatland Cemetery.
Beard is survived by a daughter, Mrs. D.F. McPhail, Dallas; two sons, Harvey Beard of Denver, Colo.,and Kenneth Beard of Seagoville; a sister, Mrs. Etter Christian, Dallas; two brothers, Dee Beard and Wade Beard, both of Casuta, La, and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Smith, Alton Smith, Carlton Lagow, E.A. Parker, Albert Milner and William Gordon.
