Obituary:
Albert Dennis, age 59, died February 20, 1992 in Abilene, Texas at the Hendrick Medical Center Hospital. He was born Nov. 2, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio.
A memorial service was held for him at the Highland Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas on February 22 and a graveside service was held at the Erick Cemetery February 29th. He was buried next to his father, Alpha Dennis, and is the 4th generation of his father's family to be buried in the Erick Cemetery.
He moved to Erick in 1939 when he was 6 years old. He attended the Erick schools and graduated from Erick High School in 1955. He lived in the Erick vicinity until 1973 when he moved to Abilene, Texas to live with his brother, Erick Dennis.
He is survived by his brother, Erick of Abilene, Texas, his uncle Edison O. Dennis of Midwest City, Oklahoma and five nephews and nieces, who are the children of Erick and Sally Dennis, three sisters, Myrna Reynolds of Fruitland Park, Florida, Ethel Rench of Hixson, Tennessee and Opal Bennison of Coldwater, Michigan.
Among those present at the Erick graveside service were his cousins Hugh Prather and Kenneth Prather and their wives.
