NORTH OGDEN, - Mrs. Alice Charlotte Cowles Call Taylor, 81, of 2714 N. 700 East St. died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. G. Loraine Torgeson in Glendale, Calif.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of the LDS Church and had been active in the Primary and Relief Society of the North Ogden Harrisville and Ogden Fourth Wards. She was a member of the daughters of the Utah Pioneers Camp 29 and the Harrisville Camp.
She was born Oct 19, 1873, in Lynn (Ogden) a daughter of David and Josephine Holtgren Crowther. On Sept 11, 1895, she was married to James Ernest Cowles in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. The couple moved to Blackfoot, Idaho. After Mr. Cowles's death in 1911, she returned to Ogden and for many years resided at 849 20th St.
She later married William Call. He died Aug 1947. On Feb 4 1948, she was married to William H. Taylor.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Hyrum E. (Edith) Judkins, North Ogden; Mrs. Frank H. (Mabel) Richards, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. G. Loraine (Gladys) Torgeson, Glendale; 12 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Two brothers: Albert Crowther and William Crowther, Harrisville: three sisters: Mrs. Ezra (Delia) Yearsley, Mrs. May Wangsgard and Mrs. Ethel Kelly, Ogden.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral Chapel, 3408 Washington Blvd. Bishop Grant L. Alder of the LDS North Ogden First Ward officiating.

Friends may call the mortuary Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday until services. The burial will be in Ogden City Cemetery.
