Melba Glee Bouldin, 82, of Plainview passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, in Lubbock. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home.
Melba was born on June 15, 1928, in Bledsoe, Texas, to Raymond and Hazel (Carter) Bowman. She graduated from Sudan High School and married Leland Bouldin in Sudan. Melba was a homemaker and a great wife and mother for her family. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Melba was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, Gary Bouldin.
Melba is survived by her son, Bobby Bouldin and his wife, Kim, of Plainview; granddaughters, Kodi and Kori Bouldin of Plainview; brother, Raymond Junior Bowman and his wife, Polly, of Lubbock; and her niece, Gay Crosslan, of Lubboc
