Funeral services for Myrl Christine Burr, 87, of Muskogee will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Warner Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Ed Hyslope and Brother Bill White officiating. Pallbearers are Rick Roach, Gary Ellis, Steve Ellis, Rodney Roach, Mike Roach and Frankie Burr. Arrangements are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home in Muskogee. Myrl Christine Burr was born November 9, 1923 in Conway, AR, the daughter of Orie and Eunice (Hobgood) Hyslope and died January 2, 2011 in Muskogee. She attended school in Webbers Falls and has been an area resident since she was a small child. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clifford and Clarence Hyslope and one sister, Marie Kelly. ivors include her two daughters, Vera Rogers and husband, Al of Muskogee, Barbara Roach and husband, Hurshel of Fort Gibson; one son, Frank Burr of Marysville, CA; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
