Ernest D. DeRosa, 80, of Syracuse , passed away Wednesday at Loretto. A life resident of Syracuse, Ernest retired from Carrier Corp. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps during peace time. Predeceased by his wife, Rosemarie on September 26, 2002. Ernest is survived by his brother, Anthony J. (Veronica) DeRosa of Syracuse; two sisters, Annette (John) Maselli and Lucille (John) Testone, both of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:15 a.m. at Blessed
Sacrament Church. Entombment in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held Saturday prior to the funeral Mass from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church, 3127 James Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ones charity of choice.
