Mr. Berry and Miss Emily S. McCutchan were quietly married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James B. McCutchan, near here on the evening of June 6th. Berry Buchanan Beard was born 28 Mar 1877 in Virginia, the son of John W Beard and Mary Emma Berry. He was a farmer and died 5 Mar 1915 in Augusta Co., Virginia. VA DC.
"Mr. Berry B. Beard, whose serious illness has been several times mentioned in the County News, died at his home near Newport, Augusta county, Friday night,the 5th instant, he was an exemplary young man and a Christian gentleman. Several years ago he married Miss Emily S. McCutchan of the Shemeriah neighborhood, who survives him. He is also survived by his father, Mr. John W. Beard and one brother, Mr. Walter E. Beard.
