BOTKIN, Rev. Allan E. age 77 of Springfield, passed away December 29, 2010. Dale was a Korean Army veteran, and was a minister of the Pleasant Community Church of God, South Vienna, Ohio. He was past president of the Springfield Lions Club, and attended the Maiden Lane Church of God, Enon Campus. Allan was preceded in death by his wife Patricia in 1997 and brother William Botkin. Survivors include his son Mike Botkin of Springfield, daughter Lori (Rick) cole, Plattsburg, OH. Grandchildren, Glenn Cole, Ashley Roberts, Elizabeth (Ben) Lancaster & Rachel Cole. Two great-grandchildren Dominic & Alexi Roberts. A gathering of family & friends will be held from 5-7p.m., Monday in the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Funeral Home, 2425 N. Limestone St., Springfield, with services being conducted at 10:30a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in the Maiden Lane Church of God 1201 Maiden Lane, Springfield, with Pastor Dan Fiorini officiating.
